Zwei Kreise so obvious a lot of care went into the making of this. lots of varied instrumentation, fun playing, all blended with field recordings, in the tradition of sonic postcards (thinking of Pub's Making Trakcx, or Movietone recording The Sand and the Stars on a beach not far from Bryher itself). this deserves your attention and time — beautifully crafted and honest, lovely Favorite track: Low Tide at Kitchen Porth.

xvv Such an excellent use of field recordings - it brings out the unique sounds of the island of Bryher while also elevating them to something controlled and expansive. Favorite track: Cockle Shells and Sea Glass.

aram_90 I first was listening to his new album on yt , and I was listening again and somehow I felt I must have it in my collection, as I think it´s a real cool produced ambient album. I whish some day he will have the chance to release proper cd or vinyl items , but this is only a collectiors mind. I´m fine with the file. have a great open 2022 evereybody. Aram EU

And as I sit Watching the evening's final rays dance upon the waves I notice Everything here breathes Everything breathes as one The island is one perfect harmony One perfect organism One perfect living creature Maybe I can harmonise Join the rhythm of everything Breathe along Become not just another body in the wilderness But a part of something much greater than myself

about

An album inspired by my time on Bryher, off the coast of Cornwall in the Isles of Scilly.

Extensive field recordings were used on this record, from waves, birds and atmos to percussive sounds and handmade instruments from beachcombed objects. No synthesis was used, so every original sound is either an acoustic recording or something from Bryher.

'Making-Of' coming soon to my YouTube channel :)
